    Claude Smadja created Smadja & Smadja, Strategic Advisory Inc. in June 2001. The firm works with global corporations and government entities on strategic corporate, economic and geopolitical issues. It is also specialized in generating high value-added knowledge helping its clients navigate and leverage globalization, creating "platforms of content" – international high profile conferences, seminars, workshops, and strategic groups. With offices inSwitzerland and in theUS, the firm has activities, clients and partner organizations in North America, Asia, Europe, and theMiddle East.

    Before creating Smadja & Associates Strategic Advisory, Claude Smadja has been the Managing Director of the World Economic Forum from 1995 to 2001. He had been involved in various capacities for close to 15 years with the World Economic Forum. Claude Smadja started his career as an international journalist first in the print media and then joining the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation where he assumed various top positions – the last one as Executive Director for the News and Current Affairs Division. He is a frequent speaker on macroeconomic and geopolitical issues, especially on issues and trends relating to globalization, on Asia’s issues – especially India and China and on the evolution of Europe. Claude Smadja sits on the boards of international corporations and is also a member of the International Board of Overseers of the Illinois Institute of Technology.
