    刘宏教授，现任连瀛洲纪念奖学金的执行主任、 南洋理工大学陈嘉庚讲席教授、人文与社会科学院院长、南洋公共管理研究生院院长。中国教育部长江学者讲座教授、国务院侨务办公室专家咨询委员、2006年至2010年任英国曼彻斯特大学东亚系讲席教授、中国研究中心首任主任暨孔子学院创院院长。目前还担任Journal of Chinese Overseas 及《华人研究国际学报》主编。他曾在英、中、日、荷文的国际学术刊物发表近百篇论文，近著包括《跨界亚洲的理念与实践》（2013年）和《新加坡的人才战略与实践》（与王辉耀合著）（2014年）。

    Professor Liu Hong is the Executive Director of the Lien Ying Chow Legacy Fellowship. He is the Tan Kah Kee Endowed Professor of Asian Studies at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) where he serves as Chair of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences and Director of the Nanyang Centre for Public Administration. Prior to joining NTU in 2010, he had taught at the University of Manchester as the Founding Director of the Centre for Chinese Studies and Chair Professor of East Asian Studies. Professor Liu has published a dozen books and nearly 100 articles in top-tiered academic journals such as the World Politics, Ethnic and Racial Studies, Nature and Culture, The China Quarterly, and Journal of Contemporary China. His most recent book (forthcoming) is entitled Singapore’s Talent Strategies and Practices.
