演讲嘉宾刘太格博士

    雅思柏设计事务所董事

    前新加坡市区重建局局长兼总规划师

    刘太格博士，现任雅思柏设计事务所董事。他是国际知名的建筑师、规划师,同时是新加坡国立大学、南洋理工大学和厦门大学兼职教授。刘博士曾负责众多建筑设计、城市设计以及城市规划项目，作品遍及新加坡乃至全亚洲，他曾荣获多个重要奖项。

    刘博士曾任建屋发展局总建筑师、总规划师、局长等职务。他对新加坡成功实施公共住宅计划及确定未来城市发展方向作出巨大贡献。

    刘博士曾担任新加坡国家艺术理事会主席和新加坡泰勒版画研究院首任主席。他是新加坡宜居城市研发中心咨询委员会首任主席。他目前仍是多个政府机构和文化艺术组织的董事会成员。

    Dr. Liu Thai Ker

    Director, RSP Architects Planners & Engineers (PTE) Ltd

    Former CEO and Chief Planner, Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore

    Dr. Liu Thai Ker is a renowned architect-planner, and the Director of RSP. He is an adjunct professor at the National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University and Xiamen University. In RSP, Dr. Liu has undertaken and completed many architectural, urban design and planning projects in Singapore and Asia. He is also a recipient of several awards.

    Dr. Liu was the architect-planner and Chief Executive Officer of Singapore Housing & Development Board and Urban Redevelopment Authority. He has been closely associated with the successful implementation of public housing in Singapore and the formulation of a vison for the future urban development of the city.

    Besides sitting on the board of a number of governmental and arts organisations, he was the Chairman of the National Arts Council, the Founding Chairman of the Singapore Tyler Print Institute, and the Founding Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Centre for Liveable Cities in Singapore.
