    2009年中国连氏学者

    莫荣先生，现任人力资源和社会保障部国际劳动保障研究所所长、(二级)研究员、学术委员会主任，是“新世纪百千万人才工程”国家级人选、国务院政府特殊津贴专家，是中国著名的就业问题专家和经济学家。兼任中国劳动学会企业人力资源专业委员会会长、中国就业促进会专家委员会副主任、《中国劳动》杂志主编，中国人民大学、南开大学、北京化工大学教授，首都经济贸易大学教授、博士生导师。2009年获选为连瀛洲纪念奖学金中国学者。

    莫先生获得了劳动和社会保障部科技进步优秀成果二等奖，北京市科学技术奖二等奖等众多奖项。并先后在《人民日报》《求是》《管理世界》等报刊发表论文200余篇，著作10余本。并曾在英国牛津大学等多所国外著名大学做访问学者。

    Mr. Mo Rong

    Mr. Mo Rong is the Director-General, Institute of International Labour and Social Security, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, China, as well as a research fellow, director of Academic Committee and national candidate of New Century Millions of Talents Project, China. Mr. Mo is a renowned expert in employment problems and economics in China, and enjoys Special Allowance from the State Council. He is a China Fellow of the 2010 Line Ying Chow Legacy Fellowship Programme.

    Mr. Mo has won a lot of awards such as the second-class prize of the Excellent Achievements of Science and Technology awarded by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, China, the second-class prize of the Beijing Science and Technology Award. He has published 10 books and about 200 papers in journals such as Renmin Ribao, Qiushi and the World of Management respectively.

    Mr. Mo has a master degree in Economics from the Department of Labour Economics, Beijing Economics College, and he was a visiting scholar of many famous universities including University of Oxford, United Kingdom.
