    Dr. Yan Dong is an Associate Professor of Finance at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. Professor Dong obtained her PhD degree in economics from University of Essex in 2007. Her main research interests are risk management in banks, financial market and International finance. She has published papers in various international and domestic journals. Her current research topics include China’s ODI in Africa, the migration of city commercial banks in China and SME financing in China. She has received NSF funding for her research on China’ ODI. In addition to her academic work, she also provides consulting work for government, commercial banks, security companies and manufacturing firms.

    董艳于2007年毕业于英国埃塞克斯大学经济学博士学位。主要研究方向为银行风险管理、金融市场及国际金融。 先后在《经济研究》，《经济学季刊》及多个英文期刊上发表论文。主持研究国家自然科学基金青年项目等各类科研项目。目前主要的研究课题包括：中国城市商业银行的跨区问题，银行业结构与中小企业融资，银子银行对中国货币政策的银行、中国对非洲的援助与投资等。

    董艳现任西南财经大学任经济与管理研究院副院长兼副书记，负责本、硕、博学生培养管理工作。除了日常教学科研及学院管理工作外，董艳还经常为企事业单位、国家机关及金融机构提供咨询服务，主持并参与多个金融机构科研项目。
