    Dr. Tan received his PhD in economics from the University of Texas at Austin in 2006 and his master’s in economics from the University of Virginia in 2001. He has studied extensively in finance, taxation, income distribution, and environmental and energy resources.

    In April 2013, Dr. Tan joined the China Household Finance Survey project to oversee implementation, quality control, policy report writing, and be responsible for the preparation of a nationwide survey of small and micro enterprises. His policy guidance reports are often delivered to state departments for review, and he participated in policy research for the State Council Research Office.

    谭继军，2001年7月在美国弗吉尼亚大学获得经济学硕士学位。2006年2月在美国得克萨斯大学奥斯汀校区获经济学博士学位。长期从事财政税收、收入分配、环境能源等方面的研究。

    2013年4月加入中国家庭金融调查研究项目，负责调查执行、质量控制、政策报告撰写等工作，并负责筹备全国小微企业调查研究。其指导的政策报告常被递送国家有关部门审阅。曾借调国务院研究室从事有关方面的政策研究。
